John Ramos is the President of DBD Westcoast Construction, bringing over 30 years of construction expertise to every project. He began his career as a skilled tradesman, gaining practical experience that laid the foundation for establishing the company in 2008. Under his leadership, DBD Westcoast Construction has grown into a trusted full-service design-build firm, recognized for its commitment to quality craftsmanship, client-focused service, and reliable project delivery in construction management. 

John oversees a diverse range of projects, from custom residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. Known for his integrity, technical expertise, and attention to detail, he ensures that every project design reflects the client’s unique vision while meeting high standards for design, function, and quality.

Baran Fadaei is a Business Development Manager at DBD Westcoast Construction and a Project Designer with over a decade of experience in construction management across commercial, residential, and institutional projects. She specializes in project design execution, interior layouts, and MEP coordination, ensuring code compliance and brand standards. Baran has led projects from concept through construction documentation, permitting, and coordination with engineers and consultants, showcasing her construction expertise.

Additionally, she brings teaching experience, delivering design education and software training in AutoCAD, Revit, and other tools while mentoring students in critique and concept development. Her technical strengths encompass wood-frame construction, building envelope design, and structural coordination, supported by effective budgeting and client relations. With a Master of Architecture, an Interior Design Diploma, and PMP certification in progress, she is dedicated to delivering functional environments.

Michael Crawford is the Business Office Manager at DBD Westcoast Construction, where he leverages his construction expertise to oversee core administrative and operational functions across the organization. His role encompasses human resources and hiring, IT infrastructure and digital platforms, accounting support, marketing and advertising, and internal communications—ensuring the business operates efficiently on a day-to-day basis.  

With a diverse background in IT, construction management, business operations, and insurance, Michael brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to supporting project teams and leadership. He plays a key role in streamlining internal processes, strengthening internal systems, and enabling teams to focus on delivering high-quality project design.

Claire is the Bookkeeper and Office Administrator at DBD Westcoast Construction, overseeing the company’s accounting, finance, and administrative operations. With a strong background in the construction industry, she manages accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, invoice processing, and day-to-day office functions. Her role ensures workflows remain organized and efficient, supporting best practices in construction management.

With experience in hospitality and financial accounting, Claire brings strong problem-solving skills and effective communication to her role. She collaborates closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and supports the office in maintaining a well-organized and functional environment, contributing to successful project design outcomes.

Nestor Enriquez is a Senior Project Design Coordinator at DBD Westcoast Construction, bringing over a decade of construction expertise in interior design and building planning for both residential and commercial projects. He holds a Master of Architecture from La Salle University in Mexico and a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from LaSalle College in British Columbia.  

Previously a senior interior designer, Nestor combines his creative vision with technical precision to enhance construction management and ensure efficient project outcomes.  

In his role, Nestor coordinates interior design components, construction details, and fosters cross-disciplinary collaboration across all project phases. Renowned for his thoughtful problem-solving, strong design sensibility, and meticulous attention to detail, he delivers high-quality, build-ready solutions. His collaborative working style not only supports streamlined delivery but also improves efficiency and enhances client satisfaction.

Anisha Benjamin is a Project Design Coordinator with expertise in construction management, supporting projects from early concept through to construction. She delivers clear, client-focused design solutions and holds a Master of Urban Design from the University of British Columbia, along with a Bachelor of Architecture. Anisha is also an Intern Architect with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC).

Drawing on a strong academic and professional foundation, including nearly a decade of experience in high-rise and luxury residential projects in Singapore, as well as several years with architectural firms across Vancouver, Anisha develops innovative project design concepts. She prepares code-compliant drawings and produces high-quality visualizations that aid in approvals and decision-making. With her construction expertise, she is highly skilled in SketchUp and Twinmotion, proficient in AutoCAD, and collaborates closely with clients, municipalities, and contractors to refine designs and streamline permitting processes.

Melody Fan is a Project Design Coordinator at DBD Westcoast Construction, bringing over eight years of international experience in design, urban planning, and construction management. Her background across public-sector and private development projects provides her with a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from early planning and zoning approvals through design development and construction coordination. As an Intern Architect with AIBC and NCARB credentials, Melody leverages her construction expertise and solid working knowledge of the BC Building Code, zoning regulations, and consultant coordination.

In her role, Melody produces and reviews construction documentation, manages permit and approval processes, and translates design intent into practical solutions that align with site conditions, schedules, and budgets. She works closely with project teams and consultants to resolve coordination issues, streamline approvals, and support clear, compliant project delivery.
